Feature of Opportunity

Corporate garden is a garden exhibition organized by Thai entities both government and private entities. Each garden shall have the exhibition space of 200 sq. meters or 1,600 sq. meters. Participants shall organize garden exhibitions which are beautiful and attractive and present concept which are consistent with the theme of Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006 and reflect the teachings, theories and philosophies of His Majesty the King. Participants shall be responsible for actual costs incurred excluding rental fee for the exhibition area.

Form of Participation

• Any organization may participate in Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006 by organizing the corporate garden either by itself or jointly organize with other entities.
• Each corporate garden shall be deemed to be part of Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006. Participants may seek approval to distribute information detailing the theme or knowledge related to the garden or to distribute gifts of no commercial value. No commercial activities are allowed in the garden.

Qualifications of Participants

• Participants must be Thai entities either government or private entities.
• Participants commit to invest no less than Baht 5 million or Baht 15 million for the exhibition area of 200 sq. meters and 1,600 sq. meters respectively.
• Participants are able to procure performance bond in a form or amount prescribed by the organizer.

Benefit

• Participants are entitled to join the competition pursuant to the condition prescribed by the organizer.
• Participants are entitled to apply symbol of the organization to the garden, subject to the applicable terms & conditions. The symbol may remain as a part of the garden after the closing of exhibition.
• Participants are entitled to apply the symbol of Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006 to their public relations material pursuant to the condition prescribed by the organizer.
• Participants may participate In the public relations activities of Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006
• Participants shall be given priority to participate in special events held at Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006 such as cultural performance, special activities and participation at the indoor exhibition, sale of goods and foods in the area specified by the organizer.

Roles and Responsibilities of Participants

• To comply with Exhibition Regulations of Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006
• To be responsible for management and costs related to the garden exhibitions such as transportation, design, construction, maintenance, infrastructure costs, management fee calculated based on the size of the exhibition area including costs of removal and return the exhibition area to the organizer. Participants may organize the exhibition themselves or assign their duties to contractors appointed by the organizer at the costs of the participants.
• To maintain the garden exhibitions at the good condition throughout the exhibition period.
• To express their intention to transfer the rights in the garden exhibitions to the organizer at the end of the exhibition provided that the decision of the organizer whether to accept the transfer shall be final.

Procedures and Timeframe

• Any organization intending to participate shall apply to the organizer from now until 31 December 2005 or until the number of participants meet the requirement.
• The design of the garden exhibitions must be submitted to the organizer within 30 days from the date of application.
• The organizer shall consider and comment the design of the garden once a month commencing from October 2005 onwards.
• The organizer shall indicate the exhibition area for each participant according to the design and theme of the garden exhibitions. The decision of the organizer shall be final.
• Following the approval of the design, participants shall enter into the agreement with the organizer and procure guarantee as prescribed.
• After the participants have entered into the agreement and procured the guarantee, the participants shall start the construction of the garden exhibitions at any time commencing from 1 June 2006 and complete the construction within 1 October 2006
• Participants may express their intention to transfer the rights in the garden exhibitions to the organizer within 29^th December 2006. If the organizer confirms the acceptance of the transfer, participants shall arrange for the transfer from 1-15 February 2007.
• If the participants do not intend to transfer the rights in the garden exhibitions to the organizer or the organizer refuses to accept the transfer, the participants shall dismantle the garden exhibitions out of the exhibition area and return the exhibition area to the organizer at any time during the period from 1 -28 February 2007.
