Opportunity to Participate in Indoor Exhibition

Feature of Opportunity

This is the indoor exhibitions of plants and flowers which take place during the period in which Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006 is open. Domestic and overseas exhibitors from public and private sectors are invited to showcase their horticulture excellence. The products profile of the exhibitions will be alternated every 7-9 days. The competitions in the indoor exhibition are organized on the basis of the exhibition calendar. No participation fee shall be charged for accepted participants.

Form of Participation

  • To participate by joining the competitions either in the name of persons, group of persons or juristic persons such as entities, societies, associations, companies or other entities both government and private entities from Thailand or other countries.
  • The indoor exhibition shall be deemed to be part of Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006. Apart from distribution of public relations paper or gift without any commercial value, the organizer reserves the right to prohibit commercial activities engaged by participants in the garden.

Qualifications of Participants

  • Persons, group of persons or juristic persons either Thai or foreigners
  • If the participants are foreigners either persons, group of persons or juristic persons including entities, societies, associations, companies or other entities both government and private entities, the participants must be formally invited by the government of Thailand or the organizer. The invitation or the allocation of the exhibition area shall be arranged by considering the participants for the international garden first and considering the beauty of plants.
  • If the participants are Thai either persons, group of persons or juristic persons including entities, societies, associations, companies or other entities both government and private entities, the participants must pass the process of designated qualifying selection.
  • Participants must be the owners, authorized persons or legal acquirers of the plants.

Benefit

  • Participants are entitled to join the competitions pursuant to the condition prescribed by the organizer.
  • The winners of the competitions will receive awards, cash and certificated issued by AIPH or the organizer.
  • The participation of participants will be promoted through press and in the formal program of the exhibition.
  • Participants shall be invited to take part in the flowers and plants marketplace without any rental, subject to terms and conditions.

Roles and Responsibilities of Participants

  • To comply with Exhibition Regulations of Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006
  • The Thai participants must join the designated qualifying process.
  • The participants both Thais and foreigners shall be responsible for the transportation of plants to the exhibition area and dismantlement of such plant out at their own costs. The condition related to the transportation and dismantlement of plants shall be prescribed by the organizer.
  • Participants may organize and maintain the exhibition themselves or assign their duties to contractors appointed by the organizer pursuant to the condition prescribed by the organizer.
  • To maintain the garden exhibitions at the good condition throughout the exhibition period.
6.

Procedures and Timeframe

  • Any person either Thais or foreigners intending to participate shall apply to the organizer from now until 31 December 2005 or until the number of participants meets the requirement.
  • Thai persons intending to participate in the indoor exhibition shall comply with the following:
    • The organizer shall invite the persons intending to participate to join the designated qualifying process within March 2006
    • Following the receipt of the invitation letter, such persons shall confirm in writing of the intention to join the designated qualifying process and the exhibition and procure guarantee as prescribed by the organizer.
    • To join the designated qualifying process at least one time. The designated qualifying process. shall be held during June to September 2006 or at any other period to be determined by the organizer.
  • The organizer shall inform the approval of the participation and the allocation of the exhibition area to the participants both Thais and foreigners prior to the date of the exhibition.
  • Participants shall deliver and receive the plants to and from the organizer at the time and place to be specified.
